The short version: be reasonable, and so will we.
These terms cover your use of Merenyo — the app, the website, and the free and paid plans. By creating an account, you agree to them. Questions: hello@merenyo.com.
The service
Merenyo lets you capture tasks and auto-schedules them into time blocks you define. The free plan includes 50 active tasks and 3 time blocks; the paid plan ($8.99/month, billed through Paddle, our payment processor and merchant of record) removes those limits. We can change what's included in each plan going forward, but not in a way that takes away something you've already paid for without notice.
Your account
- You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, and for whatever happens under your account as a result of not doing so.
- One account per person. You must be at least 13 years old to use Merenyo.
- You can delete your account at any time from the Account screen — this is permanent and immediate, including any active subscription.
Your content
Whatever you put into Merenyo — task names, details, time blocks — is yours. We don't claim ownership of it, and we don't use it for anything beyond running the app for you (see the Privacy Policy for exactly what that means). You're responsible for what you enter; don't use Merenyo to store or schedule anything illegal.
Billing and cancellation
- The paid plan is $8.99/month, billed on a recurring basis through Paddle until cancelled. Paddle shows a lower price automatically to visitors in Ghana — the amount actually charged, not a converted estimate.
- You can cancel any time from the Account screen. If you're over the free plan's limits when you cancel, you'll be shown exactly what will be removed — your own most-recently-added tasks and time blocks — before you confirm.
- We don't currently offer refunds for partial billing periods.
- Prices may change; if they do, we'll tell you before it affects your next billing cycle.
Acceptable use
Don't:
- Try to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
- Use the service to violate any law, or anyone else's rights.
- Resell or provide access to the service to others without our agreement.
Disclaimers
Merenyo is provided "as is." We work to keep it reliable, but we can't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or that the schedule it produces will always be exactly what you'd have chosen by hand. Don't rely on it for anything where a missed or mis-scheduled task could cause serious harm (medical, legal, or safety-critical use).
Ending your access
We can suspend or end an account that violates these terms, misuses the service, or is used fraudulently (including billing fraud). We'll generally try to warn you first, except where that isn't reasonable — abuse, security risk, or fraud.
Changes to these terms
If we make a meaningful change, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Merenyo after a change means you accept the update.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, where the service is operated from.
